Gelt Trip

You don't have to celebrate Hanukkah to enjoy chocolate gelt coins! Every Christmas, I put these in the boys' stockings. This year, I didn't buy enough. Every coin was gone by the next morning. These coins are positively addictive...especially when they're frozen.

So this afternoon, I stopped in Cost Plus to buy more gelt. And since the candy is in the back of the store, I was "forced" to walk past the Christmas clearance racks. Here, I finally found a topper for our Christmas tree.

It's not a star or an angel. I'm not sure what it is (a spire, perhaps?), but it gives the tree a cool, modern vibe. Plus, I got it for $3.75.
