Rainy Day People
Our house is two streets in from the open desert. As a result, we get lovely views of the mountains from our master bedroom. Usually.

Val, Charlene Tilton turned 49 today. Suddenly I feel like the Crypt Keeper.
Christopher, just think of it this way: she's almost old enough to be our mother. Almost.
I just hope she doesn't look like poor Joan Van Ark. You just want to hit her with a rolled-up newspaper like she's a naughty puppy, and scream, "What have you done?!"
