The parties are over and the guests have gone home.
The Christmas tree has been dismantled and put away.
The cookies, pies, brownies, and other goodies have all been eaten.
The Charlie Brown TV specials have been shelved for another year.
The gift cards have been redeemed and most of the Christmas money has been spent.
The post-holiday blues have set in.
