Um...who did this recap? Laura WAS RAPED, she didn't pretend. Jeezly crow. Watch the episode again. She pretends she WASN'T but then tells the truth.

OK, just reviewed - to clarify...

...Laura WAS raped. She was raped at the home of another man, but told Richard she was raped at their home. She didn't want Richard to know she was actually TRYING to have an affair on him when it went terribly wrong and she found her self pinned to the couch of a serial rapist that was terrorizing the town.
The recap implying she fabricated her entire rape is misleading and irresponsible. Granted, she's a fictional character, but the character WAS raped. The wording is wholly misleading.

Ahhh, the memories! I loved Knots Landing. Oh, and Falcon Crest! I always waited for each next episode with bated breath! c",)

Hope you're having a great weekend!

Great, now I want to start watching the re-runs of this on SoapNet! Thanks a lot, Val! Or is it Valeen? Hmmmm....

Sean--I know!!!! That was my main gripe when I first watched this. Laura just didn't want Richard to know that she was vamping around at singles bars in the middle of the day. It was one of those self-contained episodes and it was never spoken about again. I wonder if it was the producers way of sweeping it under the rug...just like the Ray/Lucy shenanigans on Dallas.

Also, I don't think Gary every slept with Ciji. And I don't like the way they implied that Val simply "misplaced" her twins. They were STOLEN! Oh, and I WISH they had mentioned the motorcycle gang episode! I know it's one of the worst, but that's why I like it!

Irene--Alright! Another Knots fan! I have such great taste in blog buddies!

Christopher--You've never watched Knots before?!?!?! You should pick up a copy of the Season 1 DVD set. I still need to buy one, but you know how I am. I'm still waiting for it to show up in the $5 clearance bin at Blockbuster! And even, it still won't be discounted enough.
