Our Pool: Then and Now

I ran across this picture of how our pool looked when it was built 6 years ago. It looks nice, but a little boring and unnatural.

And this is how the pool looks now. Our trees and those in neighboring yards have grown so big and lush. When the pool was built, we had it positioned against the western fence to maximize the late day shade. The next door neighbor's towering sisso tree was a nice bonus. Now, the majority of the pool is shaded over by 2:00.

Well this is quite fabulous having your own pool in the backyard. The green leaves allow your eyes to rest from that glaring Arizona sun. No wonder those boys were not helping with the yard work!

Looks good Valerie. Your pool is beautiful. We'll be over sometime to swim;)

PS. You probably already know this...It looks like there's a fingerprint or smudge on your camera lense.

Thank you, everyone. Meredith, we definately want to have you guys over to swim...just as soon as Q feels up to it. The water is perfect now. Also, I think Q has since cleaned the camera. We just got sunscreen on it.
